On Monday, 13 March, the Minister for the Interior, Māris Kučinskis, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Latvia, Mr Kadambay Sultanov, in Riga.
During the meeting the sides discussed bilateral cooperation perspectives in the field of home affairs.
Both parties agreed to continue work on the Joint Commission on cooperation in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, illegal narcotic substances, psychotropic substances and precursors, as well as on organizing the next meeting.
