The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions. In 2021-2027 it will enable investments in a smarter, greener, more connected and more social Europe that is closer to its citizens.
The Ministry of Interior is one of the responsible authorities involved in the administration of the ERDF programming period 2021-2027 in Latvia.
Thanks to the ERDF, the authorities of the Ministry of Interior will be provided with modern infrastructure, information technology solutions and facilities that will allow short-term and long-term targets in the areas of digitisation and climate neutrality.
