On Thursday, January 28, the Cabinet of Ministers issued 27 naturalization orders for Latvian citizenship.

Of the 27 applicants for citizenship, 55% are Russians, 18% Ukrainians, 11% Belarusians, as well as Lithuanians, Poles and other nationalities. 7% of applicants for citizenship have a basic education, 44% - secondary education, 48% - higher education.

In the upcoming days, new citizens will receive a notification by post from the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (OCMA) about the person's admission to citizenship, as well as the most relevant information about the possibilities for obtaining a new Latvian citizen's passport.
