Emphasising the need for the Baltic States to cooperate and work in a coordinated manner in the easing of restrictions, a videoconference between the interior ministers of the three Baltic States will be held today, May 8. Interior Ministers will discuss internal border management, Covid-19 containment measures and their facilitation, current crime trends, as well as prevention measures in relation to compliance with emergency rules. The ongoing cooperation between the Prime Ministers of the Baltic States and foreign affairs and health ministers has already produced tangible results, namely the opening of internal borders for the free movement of persons and goods from 15 May.
