The State Agency of Security continues to perform energy efficiency improvement work in the building of the National Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) Kurzeme Region Brigades, Ventspils part, Engineers Street 1, Ventspils.
The main works envisaged in the project have been completed and there are currently ongoing site improvements, separate fittings and restores and stoves.
Project No 4.2.1.2/17/I/033 “Reinforcing State Buildings on Engineers Street 1, Ventspils, Energy Efficiency” implements the specific objective of the European Regional Development Fund “Growth and Employment” 4.2.1 “Promoting energy efficiency in state and residential buildings” measure 4.2.1.2 “Promote energy efficiency in state buildings”. the implementation of the
Project will result in improved thermal resilience of the administrative building and will have a positive impact on the efficient use of energy resources, improved working conditions for the users of the building, improved externality, increased lifetime, and the building will be well integrated into the overall picture, increasing the role of buildings in the public space. Following the implementation of the project, reductions in thermal energy consumption, primary energy consumption and CO2 emissions of carbon dioxide will be ensured.
