On Tuesday, July 28, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to supplement the Cabinet of Ministers No. 360 regulations “Epidemiological safety measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection”, which stipulates that persons entering the Republic of Latvia through the external borders of the country without using the services of international carriers shall submit a completed certificate (questionnaire) to the State Border Guard, which shall forward it to the State Police, if the certificate indicates a person's stay in a country published on the website of the SPKC (Center for Disease Prevention and Control) which is subject to special precautionary and restrictive measures.
The State Border Guard shall transfer the certificate to the SPKC if the identity card contains an indication of residence only in a country to which precautionary and restrictive measures do not apply.
