On Friday, August 21, Riga municipal police security on water and civil protection rescue station “Vecāķi” held a beach volleyball competition at the Interior Ministry.
The State Police, the State Border Guard, the State Fire-fighting and Rescue Service, the State Police Riga Region Administration, the joint team of authorities of the Ministry of Interior and the Riga Municipal Police, the Regional Local Government Police.
In the male-veteran category, the first place was acquired by the VUGD team (I. Sproģis/G.Mašinskis), the second place was obtained by the Regional Municipal Police and the State Polation Team (M., G. Bomiņi) and the third place was acquired by the Riga Municipal Police-1 (G.Olte/I. Ķimenītis). The State Border Guard-1 team (K.Rudzīte/L.Bumbiša) gained the first place in the category of throwing places, the second place was obtained by the State Border Guard-2 team (I.Zaņevska/A. Šatohina), the third place was acquired by The VPK team (L.Feldmane/T. Drīķe). And in the Men's category, the first place was won by The VUGD-2 team (CHP. Vicinskis/J.Popmanis), the second place was won by The VUGD-3 team (A.Beiša/G. Švecs), while the third place was won by the State Border Army-2 team (K.Marčenko/D. Žolnerovičs). The Ministry of Interior welcomes the winners.
Each year, the Ministry of the Interior shall organise various sporting events, in which all employees of the home affairs services may participate. .
