On 11 May this year, three adults and one minor in Bauska decided to resolve the conflict with three minors known to them, who, against their own will, were placed in the car's luggage compartment and taken to an uninhabited place where they were physically dealt with. While continuing criminal activities, minors were transported in the luggage compartment of the car until at one point the driver did not cope with the driving of the car, which resulted in the journey off the road. The perpetrators were detained at the scene and criminal proceedings have been initiated in the police.
On Monday, May 11, three adults and one minor arrived at the apartment of their acquaintances, from which Samsung and the mobile phone “iPhone” were stolen during cross-billing, and three persons against their own will were taken away and placed in the luggage compartment of the VW Touareg truck.
The mutual accounts were scheduled to continue to be settled in a forest where physical force was applied against all minors, and one of the minors was partly tied to a tree. The minors were then driven into the luggage compartment of the car until, at one point, the driver did not cope with the driving of the car, and at some junction, when a turnaround manoeuvre was carried away from the part of the road. No one experienced physical injuries in the road accident.
When the police arrived, all the persons from the car's luggage compartment had been released, but one of the victims turned to the official, telling him he had been brought into the car's luggage compartment and stolen belongings belonging to VW Touareg at the time.
Officials of the State Police's Zemgale Region Administration Bauska precinct were detained by the perpetrators at the scene of a road accident, who currently have adequate safety features that are not related to deprivation of liberty. A report of the administrative violation has been drawn up in the police regarding the caused road accident, but criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding theft and illegal deprivation of liberty.
The law guards recall that, in the case of theft, if committed by a group of persons following the previous agreement, a sentence is provided for with deprivation of liberty for up to four years or with temporary deprivation of liberty, or with forced labour, or with a fine, confiscating property or without seizure of property, as well as for illegal deprivation of liberty - illegal activity, the possibility of determining his or her whereabouts freely shall be punished by a term of imprisonment of up to three years or by temporary deprivation of liberty or by forced labour or by a fine and subject to probation supervision for up to or without three years.
The National Police recall that, in this violent way, the sorting of relationships is a punishable act.
