Prior to arrival in the Republic of Latvia, a person who enters using the services of international carriers shall certify in writing that, upon arrival in Latvia, the epidemiological security measures specified in the State will be observed. . In the statement, the person shall indicate his or her given name, surname, personal identity number, contact phone for communication and the address of the actual place of residence in which he or she will be reached, as well as the countries and dates of departure in which he or she has stayed during the last 14 days prior to arrival in Latvia.

If a person has stayed in a country which is the country published on the website of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (SPCC) and which is subject to special precautionary and restrictive measures, it shall certify that special precautions will be taken, including self-containment.

If the arrival of an alien in Latvia is necessary for the fulfilment of the obligations of Latvian merchants, such person shall certify in writing that, while staying in Latvia, will ensure self-isolation, monitor his or her state of health and observe special precautions.

If a person has stayed in a country which is not subject to precautionary and restrictive measures, the person shall not be required to take special precautions.

The relevant carrier shall be responsible for transferring the completed personal attestation to the State Border Guard and the SPKC as quickly as possible.

Questionnaires of persons who have stayed in a country published on the website of the SPCC to which special precautionary and restrictive measures apply shall be referred to the State Border Guard.

The other questionnaires are referred to the SPCC.

The responsible institution shall keep a personal attestation for a period of one month.

Procedures by which questionnaires shall be submitted to the State Border Guard:

In places where there are State Border Guard items, questionnaires are returned there (airport, large ports).

If there is no State Border Guard post, then:

1. The international bus carrier, the destination of which is the Riga bus station, shall send the questionnaire to the e-mail: rip.od@rs.gov.lv

2. The international bus carrier, the destination of which is the Daugavpils terminal, shall send the questionnaire in a revised form to e-mail: dap.od@rs.gov.lv

3. The international bus carrier, the destination of which is the Liepājas terminal, shall send the questionnaire to e-mail: kurzemes.dienests@rs.gov.lv

In the absence of a national border cooling box, e-mail shall be sent in a scanned form: odp@rs.gov.lv or calling +371 67075616 or +371 67075718 and agreeing on the possibilities of arriving at the State border check on the flight and taking questionnaires.

Procedures for the Transfer of Information to the SPCC

The relevant carrier shall be responsible for handing over the completed personal attestation as quickly as possible to the State Police and the SPKC.

Procedures for the Transfer of Information to the SPCC:

1. In person, on arrival during working days, at the nearest SPKC institution from 8:30 to 17:00
